PADI Assistant Instructor
A PADI Divemaster who has been a certified diver for six months may enroll in the PADI Assistant Instructor Course. You also need:
- At least 60 logged dives and 100 dives by completion.
- Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
- Have a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
This course is divided up into three parts.
- eLearning. You will need to complete the PADI Assistant Instructor eLearning section and the PADI Dive Theory eLearning.
- Practical Assessment. You will be required to attend classroom, pool and open water sessions.
- Classroom. You will be tested on Dive Theory, Dive Shop Operations, Student Management, Course Scheduling and various other topics as required by PADI.
